I think we'll probably stick with this one. The coffee maker is attractive, doesn't take up a huge amount of room and looks good in the kitchen.
We probably need to use a paper filter rather than the gold one that comes with the machine. My only complaint is that fine grounds are in the bottom of the carafe.
After about 6 mos of use, we love this coffee maker. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for a couple of hours and is not as heavy as the one we had previously.
Otherwise, for ease of use and a decent cup of coffee, it's a keeper. We bought it because we didn't want to spend the money ($250) for the one we really wanted.
It's very easy to brew coffee and clean.
Braun offers a stainless collection with tea kettle, toaster and coffee maker that I bought and do not regret at all. Coffee comes out nice and hot, and no purchase of filters was required. This model has a simple design, sexy looks and brews coffee too. We drink coffee several times a week, and have always been very satisfied with this unit.
This is an outstanding buy. Our future plans call for us purchasing another KF600 for our motor home (we currently move the Braun between our home and coach). We absolutely love our Braun KF600. The thermal carafe keeps coffee hot for an amazingly long time and the Brita water filter ensures that you are making coffee with the purest of water.
Indiana I purchased the Braun KF600 thermal 10 cup coffee maker a couple years or so ago and I have found it to be absolutely the best coffee maker I have ever had, not only does it make delicious coffee but quick and it stays warm in the thermal pot for a longest time without loosing the fresh flavor I don't want ever to use a any other one this one is a 5 star coffee maker. please do. the stainless pot just makes it even better. at this moment i am drinking my coffee and went to amazon to order another of this same model for my other house only to be disappointed to find you don't know if you will restock. i love this braun coffee maker. thanks, skp small, clean lines, blends in to counter top. coffee delicious and stays delicious w/the thermal pot. i have had several coffee makers through the years, w/the braun brand my favorite.
